What do you get when combine a classic Volkswagen van, and a photo booth? A very cool idea! Or at least, that’s what this father and son team in Texas are hoping to do. William Nicol was inspired by his son’s love of photo booths and old VW vans to turn a van restoration project into a mobile photo booth project. While you might have thought of these vans as relics of the ’60s and ’70s, Volkswagen actually continues to produce them through a licensing agreement in Brazil. However, new safety regulations that go into effect next year will prohibit production of vehicles with a cab forward design, meaning production will cease in 2014. You won’t be seeing too many more of these classic old vans, but if Nicol gets his project running, you could see one with a photo booth in it. Check it out here.
